Website Update for Annual Central Oregon Coast Music Event
Polly Plumb, a regional cultural organization, produces the Yachats Celtic Music Festival. The annual music festival site needed a new updated look. (We had previously updated the Polly Plumb website.)
We selected the StudioPress responsive theme Essence Pro from about 100 child themes that work with the Genesis Framework. We incorporated some unique customizations and designed a beautiful site for this event which is a boon to the local economy and enjoyed by many who travel out of their way to attend in this scenic coastal tourist town. The project included setting up a daily event schedule and creating a newsletter subscription form connected to MailChimp and the related newsletter template. The newsletter goes out automatically to email subscribers informing them of newly added performers, schedule updates, or other changes whenever new information is added as a blog post to the website.
We found a Celtic-styled font which complements the previously created logo. We derived the site’s theme colors from the logo as well, for this growing and evolving site.
